A trial run was conducted using PVDF material with our circuit. PVDF was used to determine if the circuit is able to harvest more energy compare to barium titanate. The material was heated for 5 seconds from room temperature to 70 degree Celsius then cooled it down to room temperature for 5 seconds. Further testing will be done using different configurations such as hot and cold water experiment for temperature cycling to increase the efficiency of the material.

 

 

Phase 3

No external electric field was applied. The material was heated and cooled. 

Measured the output of the PVDF material using a digital multimeter. The output of the cirucit is in terms of Voltage vs Time.
